Taking time to volunteer at schools, childcare facilities, non-profit organizations, and various other local community services is not always a top priority of young people while navigating through their college or university experiences. Service learning, however, is â€Å"a work-based learning experience through which students learn, develop, and apply academic and vocational skills to address the real life needs of their local communities† (Bettina Lankard Brown). It offers an atmosphere in which students can obtain problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, and other skills necessary for their future employment. What? What happened? Include descriptive facts, what happened, with whom; the substance of the interaction. Over the past few months, I have been assisting a teacher of a, split, grade 1 – 2 class at Pioneer Park Elementary School for my service learning placement. Every Wednesday morning I arrive at the school between 8:30 and 9:00 am. My first duty includes helping the teacher hang up student`s artwork, from the previous day, in the hallway near their classroom. My East Coast Vacation Essay The fall semester had just ended, on a common Saturday, Father, Mother, Sabir and I were at Millennium park interacting with nature; a traditional way of spending the weekend in my family. My dad and I were playing soccer against Mom and Sabir. My father made us a surprise; he whispered into my ear, â€Å"We are going on a vacation this holiday. † We were in ultimate excitement and surprise, very happy and excited. That was an opportunity we had long waited for, and here it was. Vacations were in high demand and expensive that time of the year. The fever of vacation was rising, reality TV shows showing how vacation was, especially a group vacation. Although these vacations are strictly for the upper class, we were able to afford one. Sabir had earlier contacted a variety of companies that organize vacations of different budgets and duration, unfortunately all of them we filled and most of them had a waiting list that we did not want to join. Our quest for vacation began to fade day by day, until I came up with an idea, â€Å"a self-organized vacation. † I planned all the places and days we were going to spend in each city, including the cost. My father was very impressed with the outcome of my work. I planned spending ten days on the vacation, visiting New York, Washington D. C. , Indianapolis and Los Angeles, costing some thousands of dollars. The funds were allocated to transport, accommodation, feeding and shopping. On the 24th of January 2014 we went to downtown Houston to buy our tickets. Fortunately for us we met and old family friend that lives in New York. We were very happy, we told him about our trip and he even offered us accommodation when we arrive New York. We exchanged contacts and left home with the tickets for a first flight the next morning. On the 24th of December 2014, Aunty Ejim arrived home early. We all were busy putting our luggage together, very excited and happy, and everyone was wearing his best clothes. We were off to George Bush Intercontinental Airport, an hour drive from my home. The airport was crowded and busy because of the holidays. Almost everyone was going home for Christmas and New Year, others for vacation. We checked in our luggage and printed our boarding passes earlier and waited in the lobby. After fourty five minutes,our plane arrived,we all boarded the plane and headed to John Felix Kennedy Airport, New York City. The flight was magical, that was my first time capturing the aerial view of Houston. There were lots of TV shows, movies and the most interesting one, an inflight wireless Internet! I couldn’t believe it, and it was blazing fast while cruising in 35,000ft, I loved it! The food was very good, there was a variety of dishes, local and continental to choose from. My favorite was Mac and Cheese with some Mocha. The time flew swiftly. Although I was watching my all time favorite movie, Machete,† I could not believe the flight was three hours. That was so fast! I said to my father. He replied, That is the product of American Airline way, sonny. Upon arriving at JFK, I had already started experiencing the kind of life in New York. I have never seen a such busy place indoors as that. Mother was very sad, we were stranded but, thanks to modern day technology we found accommodation with the touch of a button. We reserved a hotel room, got a cab to the hotel and checked in. The hotel was close to the airport in Jamaica, NY. We spend a night there, after breakfast, my father was still not satisfied with the hotel because it was not in Manhattan. He wanted the best for us at all possible cost, and he wanted us to experience the real New York life (a fast paced one). He booked us a hotel in downtown Manhattan, close to all the major attractions, including Times Square, the Empire State building and Madison Square Garden, despite the cost. We took a yellow cab at 11am from Jamaica to the Island of Manhattan. I was very exxeburent, taking pictures, shooting videos and asking the driver about places. New York is the most diverse, most popular and the most financially advanced city on earth I said cheerfully said, and the driver added, â€Å"And the most dangerous too, jokingly. Surprisingly we arrived at the legendary Waldorf Astoria hotel, a place I have long known for its prestige and beauty. Immediately we stopped, there stood a gentleman in his suit and polished shoes with a big smile on his face, he took our luggage and we proceeded to the reception. I was blown away by the beauty of the lobby, from the granite floors, to the silk smooth wall, to the amazing scent in the air. It was something I have never experienced in my life, it was magical! The staff were very friendly and professional. We checked in to a suite, including two bedrooms, two bath tubs and a general living room. We had no worries about kitchen, and there were free meals for that suite. We stored our luggage, ate some food and were out to see the city. It was very chilly and windy (below zero), something that I was used to see on TV. We headed straight to a store, to get winter jackets, gloves and so forth. We were good to go in our zero exposure apparel. Our first stop was the Liberty Island where the Statue of Liberty is, a 20 minute ferry trip, my first time on water ferry and probably the last, Sabir added, due to my fear of water. I was all tensed during the trip. The structure was gigantic, very big, contrary to what I used to see on T. V. The next day we visited the 9/11 Memorial, Century 21 stores and Times Square to round up our trip. The next day, we took a bus from New York to Washington D. C. , a four hour drive from New York. We departed Manhattan at 6 am to Washington D. C. The bus was fast and very luxurious. We arrived D. C. at 11am. We were dropped at Chinatown, Downtown D. C, and luckily our hotel was three blocks away,s o we didn’t need a taxi. D. C. as way better, cleaner and also more expensive. We paid $170 for a night because of the location of the hotel. It was two blocks from the White House, four blocks away from the capitol, and other attraction centers were within walking distance. Their transport was the best I have ever seen, and the most expensive too. We spent a lot of money in New York so we had a little to spend in D. C. We were forced to cancel our trop to L. A and Indianapolis due to the surprise expenses we accrued in New York. That was the best lesson life taught me, never depend on anybody!

He has indecision about killing King Duncan because he says that he is his kin, Duncan is his guest, and the aftermath of King Duncans death will cause the people to go crazy and riots will break out. But Lady Macbeth with such great visions of power and destruction persuades Macbeth to kill Duncan. Macbeth now decides when he has to kill King Duncan because Duncan has pronounced his son Malcolm to be next in line to be king. When Lady Macbeth finds out about the witches prophecies, she sees that her husband could be king if he kills Duncan. Once Macbeth finds out that the king wants to come to his house to eat and visit, he thinks he should somehow go about getting rid of Duncan. Lady Macbeth thinks that Macbeth is weak hearted and contains too much of the milk of human kindness. She plans to take control of his emotions and actions to help him if he plans to kill Duncan. When King Duncan arrives, Lady Macbeth and Macbeth start planning a plot to kill him. Macbeth begins to get cold feet about the plot to kill Duncan soon after. Lady Macbeth takes on the role here as being the head of the family by forcing and convincing her husband to go on with the plan. Once again, Macbeth is bothered by self-doubt from his fear of retribution in heaven and on earth by getting his reputation shattered. Lady Macbeth pours scorn upon Macbeth by his lack of courage. She says he is a coward and that her own lack of pity will make her kill her own baby as it suckled at her breast, if necessary. This statement and her powerful words convince Macbeth to carry out their plan to kill Duncan. Finally, Macbeth gets up the courage and bravery to kill Duncan as he and Lady Macbeth intend to do. After Macbeth kills King Duncan, he starts to fear that someone might have seen or heard him. Lady Macbeth, once again, comforts and helps him get through his fears and frustration by her powerful words and actions. After Macbeth kills King Duncan, he brings back the daggers that he meant to plant on the guards. The Texas trip was planned in hopes of reviving the President's popularity in Texas after it was hurt during the election of 1960. Until midmorning, cloudy skies had threatened to cancel the motorcade-style parade that was planned for the day. The motorcade would travel from Love Field, where the President's plane had landed, through Dallas on a previously publicized route to the Trade Mart where a luncheon in honor of the President had been planned, (The Warren Commission, pg. 2). The motorcade consisted of the president's car, followed by a car designate the "Presidential follow-up" which carried secret service members. Behind that was another open roofed car carrying Vice-president Lyndon Johnson and Texas Governor Connally and their wi ves. Following the vice-president's car was another follow-up car and several cars and buses with dignitaries and press representatives. The motorcade followed its designated route, first passing through a residential area of Dallas, and then making its way through the middle of the downtown area. The parade traveled west on Main Street and then made a right on Houston. The motorcade went one block and then made a left-turn on Elm. On the corner of Elm and Houston was the large, ominous Texas School Book Depository, where the fatal shots were later accused of being fired from. When the President's car turned west on Elm and crossed the Depository, three shots were fired at the motorcade. The President was struck by a bullet that entered at the base of his neck, just right of his spine and exited under the lower left portion of the knot in the President's tie. A second bullet struck Kennedy in the rear base of his head, causing the fatal wound. Texas Governor Connally, riding two cars behind the President, was also hit. The bullet hit the Governor on the extreme right side of his back, just below the armpit. The bullet exited below his left nipple and hit him again on the left wrist. Secret Service Agent Roy Kellerman saw that the President had been hit and instructed the driver to get the President to a hospital immediately. Parlkand Memorial Hospital was the closest hospital, just 4 miles away. Awaiting Doctors met the presidential car and immediately began an attempt to resuscitate the dying President. At 1:00PM, just 30 minutes after the President had been shot, Kennedy's heart had stopped and was pronounced dead. Vice-president Johnson left Parkland Hospital after being notified of the President's death and traveled back to the Presidential Plane at Love Field under close guard. (Harper 2010) It can be defined as complicated system of behaviors that share and practice by a given group of people or society. This includes beliefs, values, knowledge, laws, habits and material objects. (Andersen and Taylor 2007) Cultural and society are intertwined and they cannot be separated from each other. Society refers to groups of people who stays in the same region and follows the same laws executed by their countries. (Kendall 2010) Hence, people in the same region will normally perform the same culture. (Brinkerhoff et al 2008) Some socialists view culture as a way of life (Mohanthy 2005) regards to people ways of thinking and behaving. (Macionis 2005) Culture also refers to activities or symbols that created and adopted by people to deal with certain issues in order to survive in their environments and accepted by their society. (Brym and Lie 2007) Further, it can also be a tool to unite the society so that everyone can rally together by having the same culture, same direction. Material culture refers to crudely (Ferrante 2008) or human made items that can be seen, wield, and share by society. (Kendall 2010) They are important as evidences to prove the existing of previous, current and oncoming society. (Epitacio and Palispis 1996) Contrarily, non-material culture can be defined as intangible concepts that will affect on how people behave. (Kendall 2010) This consists of symbols, language, values, beliefs and norms that created and followed by particular group of people in society which I will discuss below. (Epitacio and Palispis 1996) Symbols The presence of culture is because of human capability to invent and access symbols. (Popenoe 1989) Symbols are type of tangible objects or ideas that people appoint them with denominations or purports. (Ferrante 2008) Symbols permit people to categorize their experience and extrapolate from it. This can be shown by the symbols of daddy and mummy that cannot be simply address to anyone. As the baby often heard the words, thus he knows who he should address these phrases to. (Brym and Lie 2007) Symbols can also create patriotism, likeable or hatred because they are represented by certain tangible items. For example, national songs can stand for nationalism, roses represent likable and weapons represent hatred. Next, white colour of gown and garments are usually worn by bride and bridegroom because white stands for pureness. People might also use symbols to show their status in the society, for example the car BMW is a symbol of affluent and wealthy. Hence, whenever we see someone driving BMW, we will automatically categorize that people as rich. (Brym and Lie 2007) Although animals do not communicate with each other by language, they do have the ability to learn but with limitations. Korean and Chinese will first address their family surname but western people will only address their family name after mentioned their own name. (Popenoe 1989) Thus by evaluating the attitudes of someone, people can determine the fundamental values on what they learnt in the former. (Epitacio and Palispis 1996) Values are reciprocal with culture. (Macionis 2005) Some cultures will value more on individualism whereas some will value more on group. Seen in this light, we can realize people in US value more on individualism as they more focus on their personal achievement rather than sharing it with others. This is totally different with Korean that is ready to share their joyful with others and they tend to be more unity. (Ferrante 2008) Furthermore, values have mutual relationships with beliefs. Beliefs are notions and concepts that bind people together and what they perceive it should be. Some socialists claimed that beliefs are the fundamental for values and guiding people to pass through their lives even though sometimes it might be wrong or sinful. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) Cultural beliefs and values do not only influence people viewpoints but could shape their ways of behaving. (Macionis 2005) Another example to prove that beliefs and values affect the attitude of people can be seen from Kwakiutl group who have the habit of distributing their wealthy to their people or even to their competitors. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) They believe by doing such a way their people will stay loyalty and offer them helps whenever they are in troubles. (Brinkerhoff et al 2008) However, values contradictions always occur due to the conflicts of ideal and real culture. Ideal culture refers to the culture that someone should practice in society while real culture is what eventually adopted by people. Even though it almost the same as values, but norms clarify how people should behave while values only provide ideas and concepts regard to behaviors. (Kendall 2010) Thus, norms can also form people attitude and decide the stability of society. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) There are formal and informal norms. (Ferrante 2008) Formal norms are rules that have recorded and must be obeyed while informal norms refer to situations that will happen everyday. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) For instance, the compendium given to high school student is a type of formal norms and student ought to follow the rules stated. (Ferrante 2008) Incent taboo is an example of crucial mores that prohibit from having any sexual desire and intimate relationships with person that have the same kinship. (Kendall 2010) The violation of this taboo can bring unexpected shameful and punishments such as imprisonment, whipping or both can be executed at the same time. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) To sum up, folkways will determine either polite or impolite while mores will differentiate correct or evildoings. (Macionis 2005) Laws have implemented for modulating and governing people attitudes and actions. (Epitacio and Palispis 1996) Laws are part of formal norms that compile and sanction by state government. (Brinkerhoff et al 2008) Most of the mores are laid under criminal laws with more serious penalties (Epitacio and Palispis 1996) while civil laws are basically for handling cases about arguments. (Kendall 2010) However, laws are sometimes flexible and pamper to certain acts which might seen as illegal. This can be shown by the example where most Chinese will have the habit of gambling during Chinese New Year. Even though gambling is an illegal behavior but many polices will just close one eye because they refer this as a way on how Chinese society share their joyful during their festival. (The Star 2006) (Refer to Attachment 2 page 17 to 18) Lastly, sanction can also be applied for the intention to compel norms and it can either be positive or negative. (Popenoe 1989) Positive sanction refer as recompenses that someone will receive by doing adequate conducts whereas negative sanctions will be administered when someone did something guilty. (Kendall 2010) The degree of sanctions will rely on how strong the norm is being concerned. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) However, there are formal and informal sanctions. (Popenoe 1989) Formal sanction only occur when someone in the high status with power involve in decision making process. An example of formal sanction can be viewed by the Muslim Malay model that has to receive sanction of canning because of her violation in drinking alcoholics drinks. (Gutierrez 2002) Material Culture Besides only referring to physical and tangible items, material culture also covers the process of utilizing skills for producing items (Brym and Lie 2007) using ingredients such as raw materials, or even invent through existing objects. (Kendall 2010) This clearly shows that material culture cannot not be isolated from technology that refer to the literacy and wisdom to invent, introduce, alter and convert something to maximize its usage. (Popenoe 1989) Material culture plays a significance role because it shows the advancement of technology in enriching people life. In fact, material cultures are interdependence with non-material cultures because archaeologists can only analyze and identify the non-material cultures through the dig up artifacts left by former society. (ibid) However, sociologist William F. Ogbum claimed sometimes cultural lag can occur due to the inability of non-material cultures to pursue with the progress of material culture. (Kendall 2010) Example of cultural lag can be shown through the technology of cloning (material culture) that is possible to clone human with the same genes, characteristics, shared values and norms. However, many people banned this technology because it is differs from their religion beliefs (non-material culture) that everyone has to pass through the process of death. (Popenoe 1989) For example, iPhone has grabbed abundance attentions when it was first presented in the market and many people has buying it. Functions of this high end technology gadget (material culture) will be fully utilized and discovered by their buyers. Thus, material culture will form how human beings reacted meanwhile the desire of human beings to use high technology gadget nowadays have made many companies join in the fray to devise this kinds of material cultures. (Catanzariti 2009) Countless material cultures have also introduced through the advancements of technologies in the fields of Internet, telecommunication and transportation such as aeroplanes, computers. (Kendall 2010) Part Three Social Conflict perspective claimed culture as social item (Brinkerhoff et al 2008) because the inequality of privileged groups or society to govern social life and exploit others. (Kendall 2010) It is so called as conflict because it only benefits and focus on powerful groups. (Popenoe 1989) According to Karl Marx, ideas play an important role in society and thus the concept of ideology which is the shared culture beliefs emerged in order to remain their status and authority. (Kendall 2010) This can be supported by the example of ideology in ruling class where bourgeoisies, the upper class of Marxian culture have authority to exploit the lower class, proletarians either politically or economically. (Popenoe 1989) Therefore, conflict theory asserted that culture is a type of authority in society because it is overrule by strong and wealthy groups of people or institutions. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) These groups of people could use non-material culture such as idea to influence and change people behaviors. (Kendall 2010) For example, the contents of the newspaper would filter before publish to society if it is financially supported by private organizations. They could also convert critical bad news into minor case so the reputation of the organizations will not be affected. Thus, the cultural items that produced are not necessary correct and mostly only meet the demands of this privileged group that willing to pay. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) Conflict theory also construes culture as it will be slowly dominated by affluent big players in capitalist economic industry. These big players will gradually control and diversify their business for example by buying over other company to remain their biggest potion in the market and slowly insert their influences to society. It has been claimed that the more successful the business is, the more market the business is holding and the easier the business in affecting culture of others. Sociologist refers this as cultural hegemony, which is the only and biggest power in play. This cultural hegemony has the authority to rule everything because most culture beliefs made by these powerful people are known to be correct and perfect. (ibid) Moreover, this theory analyze concept of cultural capital that define by French Sociologist Pierre Bourdieu (1984) as the lore and wisdom that own by upper class, such as the activities of playing golf and sailing that distinguish the standards of social class. (Brinkerhoff et al 2008) The reason is simple, upper class people will use their knowledge (cultural capital) to invest their money and gradually enhance their social and economic position. Therefore, the rich will becomes richer and the poor will becomes poorer. When they have more money, they will be more respected and people will start listening to them. (Anderson and Taylor 2007) Some conflict theorists even conclude that former popular culture that originated from the public are slowly unadopted by people due to the creation of new popular culture. This can be shown by games of whirligigs and kites that were previously played by children have no longer been seen in todays century. We will be noticed that city children nowadays only play games entertainments like PS2, Internet and mobile phones. This clearly showed that the advanced games (new popular culture) have superseded the former popular games and culture. (Kendall 2010) Besides that, it also evokes the inequality in the term of gender and certain human rights. (ibid) For example, women will be described as weakness and timid whereas men will be defined as reverence. Gay and lesbian also addressed as deviance and absurd. All these inequalities have caused pressure that lead to right revolutions, a process of achieving victory in executing even rights under the legislation. Hence, women, gay, lesbian and many other rights have created in order to protect these vulnerable groups and maintain the stability of society. Examples of increasing women participation in workforce especially in Singapore have proven that women are changing and they can decide their own future. (Brym and Lie 2007) In a nutshell, this social conflict theory do not illustrate the equally distribution of human necessary but more emphasize on the relationship between culture and its disparity. (Macionis 2005) Conclusion Culture can be concluded as the characteristics of society. As the world becomes borderless, cultures easily transmit and share by people from different society. The famous horror writer ‘Edgar Allen Poe’ first introduced detective Fiction in 1841 with ‘murder in the rue morgue’. Although Mr Poe was the creator of detective Fiction, he was not the one to make it as popular as it is today. Readers were more intrigued by Poe’s creative genre ‘Horror’. Poe’s ‘murder in the rue morgue’ had also introduced the five traditional elements, the most important of all was ‘the superior detective’ known as ‘C. Auguste Dupin’, he had a method of deduction and was very eccentric. Now in every detective Fiction story or TV programme their contains the Five traditional elements ‘the perfect crime, the wrongly accused suspect, superior detective, dim witted police and the surprise ending, each one more essential than the other. Detective fiction was at its peak during the late nineteenth century for that was the time of ‘Jack the Ripper’, a cunning murderer who was never found. The mobs were intrigued by this whole situation, how it started and how it ends. To quench their appetite for mystery and suspense they would read detective fiction books. The most popular out of all the writers would have been ‘Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’. His stories had a different focus point. While other writers are focusing on the plot, Sir Doyle would have been showing of his detective’s intelligence. The superior detective would have solved impossible cases, have ridiculous and controversial theories, suspect clues with little or no evidence but at the end of the day he was the one to catch the criminal. The superior detective was known as ‘Sherlock Holmes’ with his right hand man Dr Watson. In any one of Sherlock’s stories Sir Doyle would have focused his attention on Holmes, the story would revolve around him on his thoughts and actions. One of Sir Doyle’s famous stories was the ‘Speckled Band’ that was about a young woman who died in a perfectly humane situation however there is little evidence to who or what did it. The ‘Speckled Band’ contains all the essential criteria, the perfect crime. Etc. The perfect crime committed was the death of Julia Stoner. Their was very little evidence of murder and how it could have been committed, For example her bedroom door was locked, her windows were barred and their was no sign of blood, bruises or any other form of violence. The Superior detective was clearly stated after making remarks to Dr Grimsby Roylett about the ticket leaning over his pocket and the state of his coat. This gives us an example of Sherlock’s excellent observational skills and his superiority.  Ã¢â‚¬Å"†¦I observe the second half of a return ticket in the palm of your left glove.† From observing this Sherlock realises that he arrived here on public transport. In my view the wrongly accused suspect were the Gypsies and the sister of Julia. The reason for the Gypsies is because they are complete strangers to the family, who knows what they were capable of doing. The reason for Julia’s sister is because when she was speaking to Sherlock, he found her to be tense and he had the feeling as if she was hiding something from him. â€Å"†¦Have you told me all†. Sherlock had found her tense by observing her body language. This also shows us the intelligence of Sherlock. The ending came to quite a surprise, however I wasn’t completely shocked to hear that the culprit was â€Å"†¦a swamp adder†. I knew that Dr Roylett kept exotic animals and I also thought Dr Roylett did it. My theory was correct about it being the Dr, but not completely. The snake killed the girl but the mastermind behind the death was the Dr.  Although the story did not contain any police, the story itself states police as dim witted for example Julia’s sister goes to Sherlock to solve the crime. Here she knows the police haven’t got the intelligence to solve the crime. Doyle’s rural setting of where the incident happened was colourful and natural. You would never think anything sinister could happen however when setting eyes on the location of the death, there was a huge contrast. Watson describes the setting â€Å"†¦there was a strange contrast between the sweet promise of the spring and this sinister quest upon which were engaged†. The surrounding was very colourful, no prisons, no insane asylums, there were no sinister vibes except for the ones coming from the house. I suppose the setting makes it to be a perfect crime but when Sherlock and Dr Watson set their eyes on â€Å"Stoke Moran† it would of narrowed down the suspects to those in the house. Although the outside atmosphere was pleasant Watson felt a huge contrast between both. † The building was of grey †¦two curving wings†¦in one of these wings the window was broken, and blocked with wooden boards†. Stoke Moran seemed to be mysterious but the only thing about unusual about it was the presence of that Dr Roylett who was a strong bitter man who kept wild animals in his premises. Another one of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s books was the ‘the blue carbuncle’. In this Sir Doyle emphasizes a great deal on Sherlock, his predictions and theories. When reading ‘the blue carbuncle’ you get so much information from one piece of evidence that story loses the plot. When Sherlock is examining the evidence Sir Doyle is trying to tell the readers that Sherlock is so intellectual there is nothing he can’t solve. The piece of evidence Sherlock was examining was a hat, although to a normal intellectual being like Dr Watson you wouldn’t find any clues about that hat. Sherlock came up with a great deal of conclusions and suggestions from a plain black top hat. Some of the conclusions made towards the hat by Sherlock would now be very controversial â€Å"†¦it came right over the forehead and settled upon the bridge of his nose†. Here Sherlock suggests that he is an intellectual man just by the size of his head â€Å"†¦It is a question of cubic capacity†¦a man with so large a brain must have something in it†.  There were also suggestions about the hat that were more believable and more obvious to see â€Å"†¦ goes out a little, middle-aged, has grizzled hair which he has had cut within the last few days, and which he anoints with lime-cream† but even Dr Watson failed to see these clues when glancing at it, first time.
